![]() ![]() One thing i noticed is that you can (to some minor extent) control the coinflips based on when you click to flip, and based on what iv'e experienced with this and other games, i no longer consider this a placebo, pseudo rng events can be influenced on by clicking at random (in some games/cases fixed) time intervals. ![]() You are right about adding conditions to a pseudo rng, waste of programming and that's why i'd love to see them implement randomorg's api, cause their true rng is totally unpredictable. Plus 50/50 chance all the time isn't good either, and if you follow up on pseudo rng you can see that they are predictable, some much more and some much less but they are, try looking up on randomorg's site, it's under statistics/testing random numbers just scroll down a bit. I can't say there is a bug in the game's pseudo rng, but i can say that the rng itself is bad quality imo. So why would they waste time and resources trying to make it unnecessarily and detrimentally more complicated? You say it yourself "After all, how hard can it be to convert a RNG into a simple binary result?" it would be way more difficult and a waste of programing to try and add conditions to a random number generator. Thinking that just because you saw 10 tails in a row it must mean there is a bug. More likely you are the one who is being swayed by the gamblers fallacy. Sometimes, I see tails being a favourite of TCG Game here online ! LOL that was a but funny, but have observed this many time ! Seismitoad EX is losing some of its tricks like Hypnotoxic Laser/ Virbank in standard format (assuming we rotate XY-On, or something similar), so flips while still important may become a slightly lesser part of the game.īut IRL Probability of 50/50 doesn't seem to apply here. and players will just have to deal with it, either by building their decks to draw more consistently, playing counter cards or just accepting that some games you are going to get unlucky and lose to certain decks. ![]() When you play enough games, or are unlucky enough, it is only natural that you will hit flips/draws which seemed nearly impossible, but are actually quite likely.Īs I'm sure most will agree, luck is a large part of the game. Equally I have seen players with Toad hit all tails. I have seen numerous irl games where a Toad player has flipped almost all heads, indeed one game irl a player hit 24/26 heads in a single game. Whilst I don't know enough about coding to suggest whether or not the coins/ luck element of the game online are imbalanced or imperfect, I can say that luck is also a prevalent factor often in the real life game and coin flips will very rarely meet a perfect 50:50 or nearby (unless over a massive scale). ![]()
